It's FALL!

I need to be honest with you all..... I had a blonde moment this weekend, that lasted until about five minutes ago. After I updated my blog I couldn't figure out how to log in.... yeah. It was embarrassing. So embarrassing. But obviously I figured it out....soooo..... anywho.

It is FALL, it's my favorite time of the year. And now even doubly so (details to follow). So it was obviously time to grab all the Fall clothes (and buy new ones) and start breaking them in this past week. It's been wonderful. Here are a few looks I've been rocking and a few items that are on my wish list:

Trying a lighter look with my makeup.... and fell in love with lip balms again. 

I find it appropriate to rock braids when there are beanies involved. Deal with it. (Note the new aviators.... be jelly)

And then these bad boys. Awesome... right????

Animal lover.

The people that I surround myself with usually (quickly) come to the realization that I have very unique taste. I think that over the years it has become a little more refined... not so terrifying. But there are times where all style and commonsense go out  the window for me.... because I get excited about things. Sorry #notsorry (Yes, I just hash-tagged on my blog :))

I love bold items... and I love pets. Animals of all kinds, shapes and sizes (minus Baboons... they're just not my thing) so when I can incorporate bold things or animal something into my life.... I do. Because they make life better. 

 All this to say, I have been on the hunt for a king size headboard and comforter set.... I found a fabulous headboard that I am pretty much in love with:

But when it came to finding the right comforter set I have had no luck.... clicking and searching to no avail. Until.......... I found something that combines my love of Dolphins and comfort: 

I mean...right?? This is a totally acceptable comforter for an adult. I've decided.

Offended.

I was excited to see the latex nude bikini that Miley was wearing at the VMA's this year. Yes. I was excited. I had literally just purchased the same one a week ago and seeing it on her reassured me that I would definitely be able to pull the look off. But ever since the VMA's the outfit has been blasted and I really am not sure why? Like I always say, haters gonna hate. Ya dig?

Sometimes we make life choices that not everyone agrees with, most of my poor life choices have been for public consumption so I understand what Miley is going through (including her fabulous fashion sense that isn't getting credit where credit is due... Everyone wears a teddy bear bodysuit sometime....) Like Kermit always says, "It ain't easy being green"

As for you parents out there disgusted and appalled.... It could be worse. She could have actually looked good on stage. I think you are safe in knowing mostly no one is going to want to copy that look or really anything she did that night.... I'd just leave it at that.
